Happy hour

There isn’t a college student in the country that isn’t familiar with Happy Hour. It doesn’t matter if a person drinks or doesn’t drink, everyone knows what Happy Hour is and where to find it. You might need to stop for a few drinks and relaxation before heading home from work or else you just need to socialize with a few friends. Finding a bar or restaurant that offers a Happy Hour with some great drink specials is where to find people of all ages on any given day of the week. The most popular day of the week to find more people taking advantage of drink specials is on a Friday afternoon.

If you can’t locate a bar or restaurant near your house that offers some sort of Happy Hour specials, you can do some research on the site www.happy-hour.com. Not only can you locate places on their site but you can also find drink recipes as well. Depending on the bar you choose, the specials could vary greatly. Some places will offer specific drinks for a quarter for an hour or so. Other places will simply offer 10% off or half price. No matter what way you look at it – saving money in any form isn’t a bad deal. I’ve often wondered how they can sell alcohol for so cheap on a few days a week. When you think about it, the specials that they are offering are actually helping to increase their sales for the day. You’re not likely to buy just one drink and then leave. You’re more likely to stay past happy hour and pay full price for drinks. You’re also likely to order an appetizer or meal while you’re at happy hour. If you’re under their roof, chances are, they will get additional money out of you somehow.
However, you’re too busy noticing the amazing drink specials to realize that. Don’t get me wrong – you can truly save a ton of money by going on only when there are drink specials. That’s the only way that I could afford to drink anything at all during my old college days.

Do yourself and others a favor though, no matter how often you go to Happy Hour. Don’t allow yourself to get too crazy and have too much alcohol in your body. When that happens, something drastic is likely to occur and there isn’t a beer on the planet that is worth sacrificing someone’s life or well-being. Don’t get behind the wheel after Happy Hour. Have someone else drive.
