by Julie N. on My friends and I came here on a late Saturday night, after a birthday dinner. We had to pay $10 cover since we came after 10pm. Let me tell you, it was definitely not worth it. The place was wall-to-wall aZns....I'm Asian too, but I like my diversity. Is it just me or do bars have way more CREEPY guys?? Maybe it's because I don't drink as much when I go to a bar rather than a club. This one white guy approaches me while I'm sitting down, takes out a CONDOM from his pocket, and shoves it in my face saying, "Hey, you wanna fuck tonight? I live real close to here." Uhhhmmm what??? YOU ARE SO DUMB. YOU ARE REALLY DUMB...FO' REAL. I have never ever been approached like that in my life. I mean, at least compliment me first. Message to guys who like to pick up ladies at the bar: Just be nice and act like you want to get to know her. We are definitely turned-off when you approach us like the idiot I described above. On a better note, the bartender made us strong drinks. We also discovered that there was a dance floor a couple steps from the bar. The room had ample lighting, so I could see there was hardly any women. Just guys, awkwardly standing at the sides like at a high school dance. Definitely not coming here again.
by Suzy L. on My fabulous friend and I decided to go out and he suggested the Infusion Lounge! When we got there the line was around the block. I was like...oh no, girlie don't do lines! But lucky me, my fab friend is a VIP and we just walked to the front and got let in. Felt like a rockstar...hehehe!!! Once inside I was impress with the decor. Very stylish! A bit of modern contemporary meets Shanghai. The designer was very innovative in using glass to encase ugly steel beams...made it look artsy. It was really, really crowded! Although we were VIPs and allowed to roam freely in all areas, there was not much to roam. I must not have been feeling the vibe that night because we were only there for 30 mins and I was like...let's bounce. Great space, not sure about the drinks since I didn't order one, but maybe I will go again another time and see if the vibe is different.
by Arden Blocklinger on Unfortunately, I have to join the masses and only Rateclub about the 80's Night on Thursdays. Here's a run-through of my experiences: 1. Hot as hell! 2. There's always this one girl on stage throwing herself against the brick wall. 3. There's always this one guy dancing in the cage. 4. I once saw a guy peeing in the trash can of the men's restroom. Best of all, 5. No one hates 80's music more than I do, but somehow Cat Club keeps me coming back for more!
