I find that those small carts throughout center city makes a better cheesesteak than Genos.

Coming to this place as an adult just makes you wish you were 5 again.  The entire complex seems to be designed from the ground up with children in mind, like the bubble-shaped floor-level windows or the crawl spaces that are only 2 feet high.  Now admittedly, there are many adults that I'm sure have no problem indulging in 2-foot-high crawl spaces, but for the rest of us, the aquarium is a slightly less magical affair.  That's not to say it was bad:  The central tank is one of the largest in the country and has 4 whale sharks in it, among thousands of other sea creatures.  But throughout it all, you might get the distinct feeling that you're missing out on something as compared to your vertically-challenged offspring.  Put that feeling aside though, and you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself for the two hours or so that it takes to get through the place.

I had to gag when the MC announced how much of a treat we were all in for.. and that we should give ourselves a hand for supporting the arts. That's when I realised I wanted out of the place.. but dinner had not even started yet. Imagine you're having a bad trip and found yourself stuck in a warehouse party.. and you knew the only place you could keep your act together long enough to wait for a ride home in 4 hours was in the chillout room. And then your trip gets worse, you're stuck in a parallel universe of cirque du solei wanna be tryouts and fake happy wait staff. Almost all of the food sucked... everything except for the shrimp in a wine glass. And you felt too guilty to leave before the last 3 courses were served because the rest of your friends would be stuck there too. Dinner required at least 3.5 hours.  This place banks on the idea that having a captive audience will make people buy more expensive drinks. The idea of the place is great.. the whole "live dinner remix" is unique.. Unfortunately I left the place massively disappointed and had to pretend that I was having a good time since it was a friends idea to go there in the first place.
