by Ashley P. on MAKE SURE TO MAKE A RESERVATION!! I heard about this place through a friend from work. Lured with the idea of BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS I was a fan already! Unfortunately, I wasn't warned of the fact that this posh brunch spot is more like a club for party continuers! It would have been more fun if I hadn't just gone with one friend - definitely a group fun atmosphere We ended up going to the place next door. I'm sorry but the hour and a half wait for two people to eat is a little too long for my taste. I'll have to go back another time :)
by Stephen R. on I was impressed with the sound here. So impressed, in fact, that when I woke up this morning, I could still hear the cymbals crashing in my ear. The Avalon is big. 2 bars line the room on the stage level, and two more bars populate the Mezzanine. Up top there is neat amphitheater style seating area sidelined by, you guess it, another bar! The crowd varies by the night, but it's typical Hollywood.
by Michel Llanas on First I thought, Mason finding parking can be a B*tch & having an SUV doesn't help but lo and behold, we found a spot just a block away right away. ^_^ Saw Lavay Smith this past Saturday, she was awesome. Live band were great, space pretty intimate, any seats is a good seat. Server were fast in getting our drinks and very attentive. At the end my bf & I had a chance to dance swing. C'mon for $30 on Saturday night for two, you can't beat that!
