I got to visit the infamous "Compound" on New Year's day. It was crazy crowded. I was with my boyfriend and guy friend visiting from NC. We did not arrive until 11:30pm and the parking was a beast. After paying 20$ to park and walking thru gravel in heels, I was annoyed to say the least. This place was advertised as free all nite but when we saw the line we considered wasting our 20$ and turning back. It literally looked like the wrap around lines at six flags! The cut line was 20$ and was epic long but moved swiftly. Sadly, we gave in. After being groped by security, I remember thinking, damn she could at least bought me dinner. Once past the circus outside, we found a gorgeous, swanky club. The club is both indoors and outdoors. The outdoors has lounge like seats, pretty lights in a courtyard style. There are bathrooms outside that are unisex! WTF, this was beyond awkward when I looked up to see a guy beside me washing his hands and hitting on a chick at the same time. The inside was divided into about 3 areas. Each area was more musty and crowded than the next. The main area housed the largest VIP booths with my other man Cam Newton in attendance:) My guy friend was in disbelief of all the big booty, beautiful women. I told him to close his mouth. I do admit this place is a man's dream crawling with pretty girls EVERYWHERE! I am sure this place can't alwayz be that packed as that night. I wanna do VIP here one day, b/c when u go here u need a place to retreat. It was super fun, despite all the ppl.

"One need not die an idiot," they say... and you might never worry about it again, after visiting the Clermont Lounge. What else in the world is there to know, after watching a "dancer" past her prime, slapping her inner thighs and crushing PBR cans underneath her still-sizeable breasts? No cameras are allowed inside, but don't worry: the scenes you witness in the smoky darkness of this infamous nightspot will be burned into your brain. Your innocence will be lost forever. In other words, definitely check it out. Terrifying, hilarious and awesome! Parking is kind of sketchy but that should come as no surprise...

Have been to this club many many times and always enjoyed the crowd, the bar tenders, the location and the DJs spinning here. The place is low key and has a relaxed atmosphere. The bar is well served and the the wait is usually not long. there are a few seats to sit down which always gets a plus from me. Bathrooms are clean and in good shape - never have to wait. The sound system is pretty good, so if you are a bit sensitive to too much decibel, bring your ear plugs!

Artificially created hip, but it is hardly an accusation in Manhattan. A highly desirable status is maintained by keeping people outside, so get on the guestlist to enjoy a rather unremarkable modern interior and smooth music with beautiful people.
