by Danny D. on I think Badlands is better musically, but this place is big and has the outside patio area to relax. Get in before 10pm and its free which is nice. I enjoyed the dancing and fun atmosphere.
by Lakendra Dagon on Finally, a bowling alley for adults has landed in the A-Town. Formerly AMF bowling alley, 300 Atlanta is by far the best place to bowl in the metro. With updated dcor and a convenient location of the I-285 Chamblee Tucker Road, this newly renovated concept is genius and very similar to the AMC Buckhead Backlot. Where else can you bowl and receive restaurant style service? You walk in, request a lane, get your bowling shoes and ball, order food and drinks at the lane and pay for everything when your game is over. At 300 Atlanta, the appetizers, entrees and desserts are similar to what you would find at TGI Friday's or Chili's. Friday and Saturday evenings are reserved for Xtreme bowling which almost feels like the club. You'll see plenty of people socializing, bowling, dancing and drinking while listening to the DJ spin. The added bonus is the streamed music videos that are played on large projection screens above the lanes. Chances are after you bowl here, you will not want to bowl anywhere else in Atlanta.
