by Eduardo Boeding on I have been coming to Martuni's off an on for the past.....er....yeah..... let's just say I'm not gonna date myself here. Needless to say it's been for a long time. I first came here years and years ago in my single, trophy boy years with an older date. No, not George Burns old, more like me in my early 20s and he in his mid 30s. Needless to say I don't consider mid 30s old anymore. Fast forward...yeah... (not going there)...to today sitting waiting for the damn Rateclubers to show up. This is my first appearance at an official non-official Ratecluber Happy Hour. After about twenty minutes I don't recognize anyone. Yeah I've seen the photos but everyone starts to look the same. Finally someone notices me and recognizes me and yells out: "Alfredo!" Through my hard pour, Chopin Dirty Martini fog I respond: YES that's me! So I finally meet Todd, he who thought I was a figment of his imagination. Good times, good drinks, good piano music and great new Rateclub friends! Till next time!
