Eh its not a bad venue. You need a good eye to find this place because its practically in an alley. A semi-sketchy alley close to the ball park for that matter. Anyway, its not the greatest looking club either. Looks like your simple looking club with bland decorations and stuff like that. For all you folks who eventually feel tired and want to sit down, there's actually a fair amount of tables and bar stools for you to sit on, so seating is not limited to just VIP booths. And for once there's a bathroom where there's no attendant hooking you up with paper towels and hoping to get a tip from you. I appreciate the gesture, but that's my tip for my drink. Speaking of drinks, there's 2 bars, one on each side of the club. Music was good, but I'm biased because my homeboy was DJing that night. He played a mix of everything, from r&b to rock/house mashups. The crowd was pretty mixed. It's not like Man Jose or flooded with aZns. My kind of crowd. Dress code didn't seem to be strictly enforced here. apparently this is one of those clubs that allow the douchebag look (Ed Hardy, Affliction, etc). I'm pretty sure they allowed sneakers in here too, and this was on a Saturday. Well, at least its not one of those high end clubs in the city. Nonetheless, its one of the more chill venues in the area, and apparently the cover is cheap ($5) if you don't make the guest list on time. If you can also get past the fact that its in an alley, then you can somewhat appreciate it. Not bad, but not that great.

Don't bother. I came here last year and had an OK time even though the bathroom attendant woman stole $100 out of my wallet that I left in the stall. My friend had a bday and had space in the back so that is probably what made it seemingly kind of sort of fun. But I went here Saturday and it was horrible. Overly crowded with either Bridge and Tunnel or what seemed to be young (like 18 year old young) college girls from out of town, and you can't even sit unless you order bottle service. My friend had everyone meet her at Retox for her birthday--and after a certain time, people weren't even allowed in unless they ordered bottle service. WTF? The bartenders are friendly and make the drinks well and that is about the only perk which really isn't much of a perk after spending $26 on two drinks. I'd probably never go here again. Not worth it. Oh and not to mention--it was a $25 cover.
