Unexpected fun club/bar w/ RANDOM events. This was my first time ever coming here.  I have seriously never heard of this place.  One plus is that the club is pretty diverse. Came here around 10:30ish.  There was a line and the cover charge was $10. They have valet parking for $5, but it filled up fast.  I would highly recommend parking here because finding street parking is hard. Exterior first impression:  small, movie theatre like, run down. Interior first impression: small However, the place is bigger than I expected.  On the right of the entrance there is the bar area w/ plenty of tables.  Across the bar is an arcade room (RANDOM but cool).  There is also a really really small smoke room outside of the arcade room.  Next to the arcade room is a small private party room.  On the left of the entrance is the dance floor. Club:  There were so many people and people spilling alcohol everywhere.  One guy accidently hit me with his elbow and made me spill my drink on myself.  My sister and I confronted him and told him he should at least buy us a drink, but he was so shady that he basically tried to blame his friend.  He didn't even say sorry.. very rude. Drinks:  very very strong! ALWAYS A PLUS! Dance Floor:  Pretty large for what I initially expected for a small place.  There are plenty of tables and another bar.  A RANDOM fight occurred.  I was right next to them and my guy friend quickly moved me out of the way.  No security guard came to stop the fight until it was all done and over with. Overall, pretty fun night. The ratio of guys to girls: 4:1.  I honestly felt bad for all the guys.  The worst part is that most of the cute girls there came w/ their bfs.

the one thing i get to enjoy about visiting Austin once a year: Tex-Mex food. and awesome tex-mex food it is. Just came back on a friday night and this place was packed. there were 6 people in my party but we got split up into 2 tables. on opposing sides of the aisle. that kind of sucked. we could've waited 20+ min for a bigger table to open up but we were hungry and didn't mind much. Server for the night was named Peter. very helpful and answered my dumb questions (leave me alone i'm an outsider!!!) i ordered a burrito filled with the mushrooms topped with ranchero sauce with a side of pinto beans. plate came steaming hot! ranchero sauce was a delicious blend of spice and tomato. there's a full bar for those wanting a drink with mixed drinks as well as beers on tap. downside of the night:bill paying time. we wanted to split our party half cash half card. instead of splitting the check, he charged half the bill on card and didn't tell us how much remaining was left to pay. so we spent 5 minutes figuring out how much to pay and if we had covered tax+tip yet. our receipt was scratched up and full of pen markings and when we left, we were still unsure if we under-tipped or over-tipped him. he made paying unnecessarily difficult. but at least food was good. and i'm fullllll btw, check out the cool artwork. and beware of blasting songs that haven't been heard in years

Yikes...I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown.  Gross 20 year olds with no manners or personality from all around the greater NYC area pulsating to terrible music was not a good way to spend 15 minutes of my Saturday night. Please avoid this area even if you decide to make the best of a night when you can't get into Pink or Kane. There has to be a bar nearby somewhere... BTW- I think Gabriel R's description is right on about the Blade scene...
