Went out with some friends for a get together and birthday celebration, where we would go grab some drinks and go out dancing, so they decided to hit up bubble lounge, normally this place gets crowded later in the evening so you might want to come earlier to beat out the lines to get in especially due to fact they have no cover.... I bought the first round of drinks, I walked up to the bartender and asked her what was her specialty drink or one that she recommends, without a word she just drops a menu in front of me and goes to do someone else's order....  I ended up getting 5 drinks and the total came to over 75 bucks with tip so we all sampled them.  (granted I know they had champagne in it and I know... yes no cover....) Bubblicious - ** - Pretty good, fruity and held up well against the dryness from the champagne. Tropical Royale - * - I wouldn't order it again, the pineapple juice from the can left a metallic taste to the drink. Le Comte de Monte - Cristo Kir Royal - *** - Overall my favorite drink, I like casis in general so this would probably the one I would order next time. Chateau de Chambord - ** - It was ok, my friend liked it more, I usually like chambord too...  strange... Crown and coke - Buddy ordered this, probably taste like it should, I didn't try it. Downstairs they have a dance floor area, that I think for some reason reminds me of a subway tunnel on the east coast, narrow, crowded, hot and humid, low arching ceiling (seriously anyone even close to 6'2" is gonna think they are gonna smash their forehead in...  I'm only 5'7" and I felt a little claustrophobic in here.)  with weird puddles in the corner...  The DJ was doing some pretty good music that night and we did have a good time dancing...  but it seems crowds of people are constantly jockeying for position around the fans.  I did see one girl have almost have a Marlynn Monroe moment with the fan, much to the amusement of her friends...  And ours... Still I know they have no cover, they have that TV that plays on a ceiling to cater to the birthday boy who had a little to much to drink, but I have to say if you are going to charge that much for drinks at the bar, you need to use better ingredients... and as for that bartender, seriously, it was a slow night, drop the attitude, your in the service industry...  Especially at those prices....

Ughh, where to begin. It was a struggle giving this place 2 stars, let me tell you. I came as part of a bachelorette party on a Saturday night, and we had table service. Which was the primary redeeming feature - I must say we were treated exceptionally well; the mixers, ice, limes etc were refilled rapidly, and we were able to move to a different table when we decided we didn't like the one we originally chose. So, props for that. I dig the leather seats and matching ceiling, and the general decor,  but the layout is not good for dancing. Although, I'm not sure why you would ever dance here, as the music is HORRENDOUS. They were playing  some 80s/70s/RnB trainwreck; yes, amazingly, the horrific sounds blasting at headache inducing decibel levels were actually DJed. I couldn't really believe it. To be fair, it is not the type of music I like at all; I'm an electronica girl through and through when it comes to clubs. But I was not alone in finding the music simply awful. And so, so loud. I'm still recovering, 24 hours later. There may well be permanent damage. It was also absolutely freezing inside; I never took my down jacket off, and I STILL never felt warm. Again, all of us found this to be the case. Sadly, I wasn't drinking, so I had no wonderful booze to warm me from the inside. I found the crowd obnoxiously fake-trendy and just oddly mixed, and not in a cool eclectic manner, but in a weird awkward way. And why, why must you be SO FAR from a subway, Home? I'm pretty sure my body temperature dropped to below zero on my walk to the closest metro.
