one night me and a few friends went out with the intention of going to juliet, however after traveling all the way there, one dumb bitch in our group announces she's forgotten her id. i figured she would go home and get it, or she would go home and just stay there and wallow in her failure, but instead she dragged us all down to griffin where she knew a promotor who got us all in. whatevaa bad things - when i asked the bartender for a birthday cake shot, she didn't know how to make it.. yeah, neither do i, but I'M NOT THE BARTENDER BITCH - they REALLY enforce only one person in a stall at once. me and my friend tried to go in together, and they actually grabbed her and pulled her out. it was a long and lonely pee without her - drinks were waaaay expensive. i bought myself one shot and it was $12. i'm not ballin like that, i like my vodka mixed with snapple and drunk in the bathroom of starbucks to be honest, and paying more than $8 for a shot makes me angry rawrr good things - because we were with promoter boy, we got a booth and free drinks (well, free for me, somebody was paying) - i thought the bouncers were nice and understanding of our id-less friends situation, not like the dick bouncers at juliet looking back on this, the bad seems to outweigh the good.. i'm still giving griffin 4 stars though, because i know i generally had a good night and danced and was merry despite the few setbacks listed above. griffin's a solid place to go to, but definitely not one of the best.. i would go back if i had a booth/table/whatever again, but not without one. idk where the regular people stand anyways. there's no dance space

Ecco is one of my top five favorite restaurants in Atlanta.  The location and decor are excellent. Best of all...THE COLD CUTS!!!  I finally found out that they have a private exclusive farm outside Atlanta that provides their meats.  Along with the fresh bread.  It's the best. The rest of the menu is great and appropriately priced for this area. I love Ecco!  Did I mention the cold cuts?

After my experience at Rumor, I will NEVER go back and will tell everyone I know not to go there. My first and last visit to rumor was in July 2009. I was with a bachelorette party and we were taking a party bus around Boston. One of the girls knows one of the promoters, I think his name is Ace or something. She called him and we were told that the entire group (12 girls) could get in with no cover and a short wait, so we told our party bus driver to take us there. Upon arrival, it started to rain, but I thought hey, it won't be a problem since we were promised no wait right? WRONG. The bouncer at the door told us only half of the party could get in, the rest would have to wait and would have to pay. The girl who knew the promoter spoke with the bouncer who then said OK. So myself and 3 of the girls give our IDs and go in the club and then wait for the rest of the group. 10 minutes have passed and the rest of our party has not been let in. While waiting for the rest of our party, we are told inside the club that WE HAVE TO PAY. WTF? We were just told we didn't have to by the bouncer and club promoter, and now we do? We then decide to get the rest of the bachelorette party and decide where to go/what to do. One of the HUGE bouncers was blocking the doorway out, mind you he is 6'3 maybe 300 lbs. My friend says Excuse me and puts her hands in front of her to get through. The bouncer turns around and screams "DON'T YOU F**KING TOUCH ME!!!!!" Between the nasty bouncers, promoter who lied, and the ghetto crowd entering the club, I'm glad we did not go there. I will never go to this club again and I'll stick to places with better management.
