Legit.  That's all I can say. 1) Free DELICIOUS tacos 2) Free DELICIOUS chocolate covered strawberries 3) It didn't get stuffy and digustingly hot 4) Go-go dancers actually knew how to dance WELL (and they're sezzy) 5) Cheap parking across the street 6) Clean bathrooms 7) Lots of seating 8) Nice & RESPECTFUL bouncers (they even let me bring my water bottle in which they usually never let me do) 9) VERY FEW creepy guys 10) Beautiful venue (seriously, really classy looking) 11) No promoters (nothing vs. promoters, but it's nice to finally go to a club without annoying people all over the place and having them hand out cards/flyers at the end of the night... absence of these people means that the venue can stand alone w/o outside help) The ONLY thing I think is whack is the fact that even though there IS a guestlist, you still have to pay the 20 dollar entrance even if you signed up.  Honestly, what's the use of signing up for it if you have to pay 20 at the door anyway? Makes no sense.  As far as the drink prices, it was $13 for a shot of patron.  That was more than vegas.  But all in all, it's worth the $20 to get in... just eat 20 dollars worth of free tacos, candy and chocolate covered strawberries! ;) Bottle service is legit too. Get it on the balcony, getting it on the floor is too crowded.

Was there for the opening weekend to see Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band.  I had so much fun seeing them perform too!  I loved the space, and loved not having to get up for drinks.  Only prob with that was that it took a while to actually get your drinks after order them. As for the restaurant itself, it was really nice looking as well.  Simple, Japanese moderin(ish).  A bar on the restaurant level, and another one upstairs which also had ample seats and sofas in which to relax and enjoy your drink on. We also ate at Yoshi's before the show.  I've ever been to the original location so I can't make any comparisons, and I'm not that much of a sushi fan, but the sushi here didn't knock my socks off.  Although there was one roll that was SO good.  It reminded me of ceviche, so maybe that was why I enjoyed it so much.  I think it's called Sarusa or Saruso.  It has shrimp, white fish, and crab salsa.  Lots of lime to make it tangy, and seriously, there was a lot of back and forth over who was going to be able to eat that last piece.  Aside from the sushi we had some tempura app that was really good, and the rib eye.  Loved how the rib eye was presented.  Everything was cut so that you could basically eat it in a bite or two.  The steak was cut in small pieces and placed just so on the plate. The servers were amazing.  Empty plates never stayed at your table for long, glasses of water never went below the middle mark before being refilled, and cocktails were always promptly replaced with a new one (if you wanted). After the show, we went to the upstairs lounge and had a few drinks. All in all, a fabulous evening out!  Although since I've already eaten here, I might chose to go somewhere else for dinner before catching a show.
