The drinks here are expensive, the atmosphere is pretty cheesy, and sometimes the choice of music is questionable. HOWEVER, it's SO cheesy, and the choice of music is SO questionable, that the line between stupid and fun becomes very blurry, and now I won't go downtown without at least getting a couple dances in on the stage on the red floor. Word of warning: BEWARE OF THE BOOTHS, they are sticky and gross, even though they look super cool and hip.

Definitely the strictest entrance process I have ever encountered at a club. The line wasn't long but yet we waited as the people before us were searched and scanned. While we waited, we were given what I thought were business cards but were in fact "get out of jail free" cards. The cards were asking us to report any drug activity one might see going on inside. Already, I was very confused as to what type of place we were about to enter. I had definitely never encountered this out here in LA, nor did the couple behind us from Australia.  But then again "I'm on vacation and I wanna dance!" so in I went. The club is small, very very small. But very nice I have to admit. Music is all house/dance music, and crowd is very ummm... Anglo. Despite all of this though, I managed to have a great time all except for the many times the dj would loop a part of a song and then NOT play it. Dam near wanted to kill him for being such a music tease...

I am skeptical of the reviews of this place.  The 1 and 2 star reviews are by those who have as many reviews on Rateclub. I was blown away by this place.  Very nice decor, spacious, interesting styling.  Everything felt round.  I don't know what that means, but it's true. Despite how nice this place was, I didn't feel like the crowd there was the pretentious type that I would expect. I didn't have any food, but my friends did.  The service was slightly awkward. I got inside the auditorium thing to see Mike Stern.  The sound system was good, but I was a bit cramped with the seating, and the 1 drink minimum was a bit annoying after I paid $30 to see the show. Overall, a super nice place with a little but they need to figure out a few things first before things are running smoothly,
