by Judy T. on The place is nice but the people at the door are such assholes. Would highly NOT recommend if you don't want to deal with people with ego problems and clipboards. I've been to many other nicer and upscale clubs and never experienced the problems I had here. Guys can only get in (even if you're early) unless you buy a table. Lameness
by Scarlett Commiskey on What a w f u l experience and a l o s s of t i m e I had last night (Sun)!!! Let me picture it... We, me & my husband, checked the schedule and they listed dance lessons at 7pm (Argentine tango). We drove over an hour to the city and got there at 7 where we joined some other confused couples outside the closed club. The phone goes right to a recorded message with very old information about events a couple weeks before. Thinking we might have the time wrong, we went out to dinner and came back at 8pm. The club finally opened at 8:20 and we went inside and sat down at a table with a card that said dance lessons from 8pm-9pm. Ok, so we waited for awhile for something to start. After another 15 min or so I asked the bartender and was told that there would be no lessons tonight because the club had been rented for a birthday party. Also it should be noted that it was freezing cold inside (don't they have heaters? poor birthday party folks, brrrrrrr ) and too dark for any lessons anyway. Unfortunately after driving around the city for another hour we found that everything else was closed because it was Sunday, and so we drove another hour home where I checked the website and saw that they still listed dance lessons at 7pm. They of course have no email listed and the phone is never answered by a real person, so there is no way to verify anything they have listed unless you want to waste a whole night like we did!!! We won't be going back. :((( PEOPLE, BE AWARE!!
by Elnora Moise on I ate here last night with my wife. We were a little put off by the decor (all flat black paint) and almost left, but I'm glad we stayed. We have the roasted mixed vegetables, which were excellent. Perhaps even the best I've ever tasted. So why three stars you ask? After the great appetizers, I was fairly dissapointed that this Italian place had sub par spaghetti. The wine was good and the service was ok. I'd go back just for the appetizers, but wouldn't order the spaghetti again.
