by Jackie S. on Blah. Did I come here on the wrong day or something? Griffin was totally dead and full of lackluster individuals. I can't even remember what kind of music they played, even though I was stone-cold sober...which basically means the music sucked and the whole experience was unmemorable. I left after about 15 minutes. Even a table full of free booze couldn't keep me here. I love a good night of drunken dancing as much as the next 20-something but I'd much rather go back to Brooklyn then spend a night here!
by Lizabeth Nierenberg on What can you expect to from East Andrews? Well, being a bar in Buckhead you can most likely expect for there to be many individuals wearing all black with fake tans. The attraction of East Andrews, along with the upstairs portion of the building appropriately named "Andrew's Upstairs", really depends on the person visiting the place and the type of crowd they are comfortable with. This place mostly caters to a younger crowd, around 23-30 years old, so they are obviously not too young. I have realized in my two trips to this place that all of the girls hanging out here are either looking for there "sugar daddy" future husband or manipulating some poor guy who hasn't got a clue into buying all of their drinks for the night, only with the future promise that he is going home...alone. I really did not have an incredible time here, which should have been a guarantee in writing from the owners considering beers were as expensive here as they are at Turner Field. I have to admit though the place does have some style. The inside is fully furnished with a grand piano and fountain in the middle of the bottom floor. Kind of makes me wonder why I never saw someone fall in. The upstairs portion of East Andrews, which is dedicated mostly to live musical performances, is supposedly 10 times better than the downstairs portion because of the great acts that come through on a regular basis. I have not yet witnessed the worthiness of Andrews Upstairs with my own eyes, so for now I will discredit all of my friend's opinions about the place being "totally awesome."
