yeah, that's right.  five stars. the first time i came here, the ex brought me (for happy hour, of course).  we ordered margaritas, and the ex disappeared briefly, only to resurface with a basket of chips, salsa, and a plate full of *chimichangas and quesadillas*!  i have never witnessed such satisfying food being offered as happy hour free-fare.  f*ck yeah. when the check came, the margaritas were only $3.50 each.  amazing.  $7.00 and we were both fed & lightly liquored up?  awesome. the place can get super-loud, and if a big crowd of people shows up it can be standing room only, but shoot.  when i'm feeling way poor (and in the mood for a drink), $5 for a margarita and free delicious happy hour food really hits the spot. (plus it's close to the del mar gold line station.)

No effin' way!  They have happy hour EVERY DAY including the weekends?  My drink cost me $3!  Talk about super.  This place is pretty small, especially the tiny bathroom.  The food is tasty.  Just make sure your hands are clean because you don't get any utensils here.  We all got the veggie combo which was the ultimate in tastiness.  Our server got confused when we all ordered the veggie combo.   I heard that happens a lot.  Otherwise, this is a pretty good choice for seven hungry people.
