by Wes Desvergnes on I frequent this establishment monthly and each time I set my taste buds free down the lager roller coaster they call a Flight. Their beer selection is amazing and the atmosphere is trendy (but not pretentious). This is a burger bar and they do burgers right! If it's your first time, I highly recommend a burger and flight. If you want to try something new, go for one of the focaccia sandwiches.
by Eldon Zuelke on Science + Cocktails = Fun. I would give the CA Academy of Science 5 stars any day, but this is even better. No kids, short lines (except for drinks) and hanging out in the aquarium with a cocktail. Fun times were had by all. As a couple others have mentioned, you should buy your tickets online ahead of time - especially if you want to go to the planetarium, which always sells out. This is a great place for a date, or just a night out with friends. Oh, and check out the telescopes on the roof!
by stephy s. on Checked this place out yesterday for the LA Win(o)fest and it was all just kind of...wrong. I say wrong, because it was during the day and all of the lights were on. This is never a good thing in a night club. Kind of felt like that moment in the evening when they throw on the police helicopter bright last call, get the hell out and take the 'better in the dark' drunk ass you've been slobbering all over all night with you" kinda light. Not so much. At night and with a few over-priced drinks maybe it's a better scenario for the visual palate but I dunno if I liked it that much to even go back and explore it further. But I will say they get points for hosting an event like this and it was well worth the $35 just to see two dads sitting in a booth you know has been violated more times than not holding babies and looking all kinds of confused. Hee hee, so wrong.
