by Sascha M. on "Greenhouse!!! Muthaf****rs!!!" is what my partner in crime used to scream two years ago. She absolutely adored going to Greenhouse for afterhours in 2008/2009. The champagne and vodka was always flowing in VIP upstairs which is the only part to be in for afterhours. We would dance and party all night long not worrying about our hot pink Manolo sandals getting spilled on. Wednesday and Thursday nights also used to be awesome here as well- we'd roll deep with the hottest guys in NY. Fast forward to now and my last couple experiences here were less than stellar. However we have had many great nights here in the past.
by Pat M. on My son had the best comment.....when you come in the metal door, into the very dark entrance and through the heavy drapery, it feels like you are entering a strip club! But once inside, it is a pleasant surprise...very hip, a great view of the midtown skyline, and super friendly staff. They offer 2 courses for $20 which was a great deal considering the quality of the food. Also, they have a good wine selection with a wide range of prices (including a bottomless offer!) The baby greens salad was terrific....pears, spicy walnuts and blue cheese with a light dressing. My daughter's appetizer was sourdough bread stuffed with goat cheese with a light mushroom sauce.....rich but yummy! The steak frites was good and heavy on the french fries. Everyone in our group loved their selections and I will definitely go back.
by Luis Safi on Went there for dinner with Family on Sunday evening. Parking lot was almost empty, there were only maybe 10 people dining. The ambience was very nice...probably one of the best in Glendale. The prices were on the very expensive side. Service was good. Food was OK, but nothing to write home about. There are better values out there. This was a one-time experience for me.
