Why isn't anyone offended by this place? or rather why isn't Everyone offended? To take a religious icon and make it a centerpiece for a restaurant is sacrilegious. And this is besides the extortionate prices charged for TGIFridays quality food, the unbelievably rude service and trashy environment. How does this place stay open? Either religious protests or customer protests should have shut it down by now.

The Kong... As a Harvard student, I cannot help but have mixed feelings when I write about the Kong. It is a love-hate relationship we have, the Kong and I. I am thankful that it is here at 4 in the morning to serve us greasy Chinese food and scorpion bowls. But the subpar service, food quality, and suspect hygiene make this place an option I would only choose at 4 in the morning. I must admit, though, the Kong showed slight improvements after the renovations. But I still cannot forget that one time when I saw a mouse in the restaurant during the pre-renovation days.

I liked Trudy's a lot better when I was nearer the age of a college student. There is some correlation here with my enjoyment of mexican martinis, which is also declining. Still, you can't beat the price of the taco plate, and it's good to meet a big group here occasionally.
