by Alex P. on Absolutely THE best tacos I have ever had. Crave this place whenever I'm within a 50 mile radius. Must have the carnitas taco nick's way. The seafoof burrito is pretty darn good as well. Try both the green and red salsas. Also, get the chips and guac to share = super good. Sitting next door at Rouge eating tacos watching football and drinking some beers...doesn't get much better.
by cheryl s. on I went last Saturday around 10:30. We parked in the lot on the westside of Schraeder one block south of Hollywood and it was $20 but it was totally empty. Plus, we didn't have to wait for any type of valet service when the night was over. I have to admit that I was very surprised by this place. After seeing the line, as we drove by, I began thinking the night was going to end before it even began (waiting a long time really shoots the night down), but it turned out that once we got in, everything was amazing. Although, the line was a bit of a wait. It was 30 minutes and there was four people in front of us -- go figure, it's Hollywood. It was still worth it. The bouncer when you get to the little table where you have to pay initially tried to hardball us (saying half off for girls, $20 for guys) but with a little "nice" insisting we got in down to two comps and still $20 for guys. A Hollywood bargain. But once we got in, everything was so cool. The outside is big. The dancefloors are packed but not too packed to dance. The bathrooms were constantly empty, and the bar was easy to get to. The scene, itself, is very mixed minus any asians. I thought they were all good looking though, if it's any constellation, but a little too Hollywood, I'm fine, I'm going to be famous one day mentality for me. If you just want to dance and see a lot of good-looking people, I'd go there. I'd go there again :)
by Khadijah Uribe on This is a great place to take a friend from out of town to show San Francisco's version of a swank, loungy yet dancy, posh place. Does that make sense? I'd give it 5 stars but sometimes it gets too packed! I don't want nobody, I don't want nobody baby!
