by Loren John B. on It's a much roomier/nicer version of Duplex. I do remember having to pay only $5 instead of $10 for cover, or maybe I showed up too late. VIP booths were along the wall, but now they're upstairs. I didn't even go far back to see if the stripper pole still existed lol. Seriously, the place is decorated like some sort of semi-fancy restaurant or one of those upscale urban sneaker shops. The lighting was a bit birght in here, well at least way more lit than Duplex was. Music was pretty good at least. Mostly hip hop/r&b/90s type music. I guess we came on an off night because it wasn't as packed as I thought, or as it used to be. Drinks are standard priced, but one of the bartenders kinda had attitude when it came to giving us drinks. Don't know what his problem was, but douchey bartenders are no bueno. I consider this to be a plan B type of venue, which was the case since Mighty just plain sucked that evening. Maybe I'll come back.

by Laquita Jabaut on Nice, chill alternative to the other mission spots. I enjoyed the music and the two gingery Sedems I had. Would def. return. Curious about the food, I might have to indulge next time.
by Malika K. on I guess I've created a pattern for myself, I tend NOT to eat the food at clubs so my review is strictly based on the bar/club itself...Prive has all the makings of a successful night spot, I feel it's just lacking one key element and yes this may sound bitchy, but the crowd is lame. The crowd could use a little help. What exactly does that mean though? I suppose it's really just in the eye of the beholder. Otherwise, this venue is very attractive...boasting three levels with three large bars. The drinks are generous and well made. Convenient location with easy access to the freeway and nearby parking garages, if of course your not in the mood for going around the block several times.
