by Christine C. on i think i would have given this place 4 stars if i didn't lose my phone there. went last night for the Far East Movement after party. it's free before 11 if you're on guestlist. except that line was around the block. we end up just paying $10 and skipping the line entirely thanks to a cool bouncer. the place is really nice - one of the bigger, more glamorous clubs in SF. there is a dance room and another loungy one with the bar. drinks were the typical price at a nice club - $13 for AMFs/Long Islands. note that you have to buy a minimum of 2 drinks to use your credit card. overall fun, minus the part where i lost my phone which really really sucked.
by Jessica Whitehall on This place was completely chill on a Thursday night in the middle of Happy Hour (5-7pm). You can totally come in, grab a seat and a drink and decompress from the slave shop that pays the bills. The decor is dark and whimsical. I think it appeals to the girlie girl in me more so than the macho man in you, but there where a ton of dudes up in this bitch, most likely because the bartender was dressed all fuck me slutty. You have to give it to her, she knows how to bring in the tips, and I'm talking cash, not meat. The music is pretty good and not so loud that one cannot have a conversation. There is a lot of seating in the bar and it has a really good atmosphere. I will certainly be back.
by Corina Antonetti on People like to rain on the Circle parade, but everyone comes here anyway! It's fun and has great music. The bartenders are pretty friendly, but definitely harried. I think they need to set up a few more bars to make this a more enjoyable experience. But, other than that, who doesn't like to live like a fob everyone now and then?
