O M G to DA MAX!!! =) Came here this past Sat for my friend's bachelorette party and we had bottled service and it was OFF THE CHARTS! The club was super posh and we got seated on the second floor overlooking the huge dance stage.  The performers were amazing and they definitely know how to shake their money maker!!!  Whoop Whoop!  It was very entertaining considering they had "male" dancers too so we had something to gawk at as well.  hee hee hee!!! The staff were super on it and they brought us free tacos and chocolate covered strawberries.  Although I didn't get to taste any b/c I was was too busy drinking!!!  Damn those S H O T S!!!  =) Music was banging and it was just a fantastic night to party away!!! Can't wait to come back and do this ALL over again!!! Cheers and hope to see you fun rateclubsers there next time too!!! PS they have the hotdog stand outside the club as we were leaving so guess what...I finally got my grub on then!  LOL ;)

What a GORGEOUS venue! It literally took my breath away when I walked in. Looks like a cross between a mini opera house and a wild-west saloon...very unique, to say the least. It was my first visit to GAMH, so I didn't know to get there super early to grab a seat up on the balcony or down near the stage. Show started at 8pm and we got there around 8:10...all the good seats around the balcony were taken, and the seats that looked "available" were actually reserved for the "dinner ticket" guests (whatever that means). We ended up sitting in the way back of the balcony in high bar stools so we still had a good view of the stage. There's a bar upstairs and down, which comes in handy.  Bring cash, otherwise it's a $20 credit card minimum (if you have a crappy seat, why not drink $20 worth of beer...everything is kind of blurry already). Overall amazing experience if you like intimate shows, where you can just sit and enjoy. I think this place attracts a chill crowd, which was perfect for a weeknight show. Can't wait to go back and go early for a great seat! Grab a light bite and cocktail at Olive before the show...great happy hour!

Right off the bat, let's talk about door policies shall we? I roll up to Vessel with a member of the Green Lantern Corps who is assigned to Earth Sector 2814. We were let right in, the velvet rope mysteriously lifting and then dropping as we pass. I'm not gonna kid myself by believing the easy entry is due to my presence. I'm not the kind of guy who frequents velvet rope clubs or gets let into them with a nod, I'm the guy who knows the number representing Earth's sector in the Green Lantern Corps. It's early in the evening and there is already a line outside which we just bypassed. We walk down some steps into a beautiful club. Tastefully designed. Gorgeously lit. Not too dark. Not too bright. The music is nice and chill. I look to my right. I look to my left.  There is hardly anyone in here. If I was forced to wait outside in line, then pay to gain admission, then walk in and realize the club was eighty percent empty... well that would put quite a damper on the evening. What kind of business model involves reminding people of their social status?? That complaint aside, and it is a whopper of a complaint in my book, Vessel is great. The staff inside was quick with a drink, very strong drinks in fact. The bar itself stretches on for days. It is deceptively large downstairs. It is just the kind of place I would love to hang out with a good group of friends. As we enjoyed our night here, the crowd definitely started to pour in and the music started to amp up. Really just a great atmosphere and you can tell they have put time and effort into designing their bar experience. I like drinking in dives. I like drinking in upscale bars, and that's something I would never apologize for. Not every bar needs to be a dive. Conversely, not every nice bar needs a velvet rope. Treat your customers well, and they will return frequently and treat you well.
