by Tim G. on I have read the reviews and came here for brunch with a party of 6. We made reservations for 10:30 but the restaurant really didn't open until 10:45. By then there was already a swarm of people waiting outside to get in. I'm not sure if they made reservations or not but there was still some room left when we were seated. The place was a little smaller than I had imagined. The 6 of us were cramped in a pretty small table. Like the others have said in their reviews, you don't really come here for the food. It's for the atmosphere and music. I ordered the eggs benedict and it came with a large side of potatoes. We also got free bread with jam and butter on the side. For drinks we ordered a Spark Plug, Mimosa and Pomegranate Mimosa. The Mimosas have free refills so you can drink up until you're drunk. We didn't see anyone get drunk. It was still pretty early though by the time we finished. The service was pretty good and the waitress was nice too. Ok she was pretty hot! :) This would be a good place to go at night. I would like to check out what it's like next time when I'm here.
by Willard Galuski on I have been to Cuba Libre twice. Both times, we were able to find table for our group. It's true, the drink seen to be a little pricey and the food I find it to be expensive. Stick with the appetizers so you don't to spend lots of money. The waiting staff is very friendly both time, coming back to check if we need drinks. It is good place to visit but not all the time. Yes, you will find drunken people and sometimes you might get hump. My wife got hump by drunken lady and I Quote "I am 40 year woman with a kid, look at my ass" while she shake her booty in front of us; this is was the funniest part of our night out.
