by Jeff J. on Been to Dante's 4 or 5 times and each time the food and service have always been top shelf though pricey. The most recent visit we sat in the boat section and have to say that the experience was definitely more fun and memorable. The live jazz band pulled the experience together. It is possible to share portions if you are looking to save some $$. Asked for wine base instead of the oil and this was not possible which we were surpised, over fun experience especially if you are visting from out of town, not from Atlanta.
by Christy W. on Fun free photo booth! I thought they would actually give you the pictures, but I guess that would be a crap load of money. So the pictures show up on their Flickr page instead. This is a chill cash-only bar with a really mixed crowd of patrons. I was only here for a short time since I had a shot of the "house tequila" and was ultimately sick about 30 minutes after the shot (I'm going to assume it wasn't the tequila, just my pathetic alcohol tolerance). I would've enjoyed hip-hop more than house on a Saturday night, but I guess this just wasn't the place for that. Also, only one bathroom (well, one for the boys and one for the girls)... yikes. Oh! Side note: I used the men's bathroom in desperation and there's a one-way mirror in there looking out at the tables. I thought it was kind of cool in my drunken stupor, but now I think it's kind of creepy. Hm.
by Isiah Anno on The reason I take one star off is because this place confuses me a bit. Is it a bar? is it a cafe? So far I've used it only to drink many glasses of diet coke with lime wedges while writing in front of the fireplace. It's a cozy-hip mix. Borderline too trendy for my taste, but I've got the balls to come out in the evening hours with little to no make-up. Bartender/Batista I always see is a superultranice fellow who gives free refills with the benevolent grace that lacks most other such establishments. Also-no vegan desserts! What's up with that!
