The managers have no sense of business and kicked my friends cut my friends off stage at a contrated event. With family and friends from state wide that filled their house from the promotion only from the work of these men to bring life and add light to such a shallow place to begin with...for them to be used and abused like that is wrong not to mention every last review on here but the one by "liz" being so true! I will never go to or reccommend anyone waste their time either
by Liz Grant on In an area of the suburbs that is seriously missing quality nightlife lies an understated, often overlooked, summer hangout - Bandito Barney's. Its easy to get to - take Route 72 (Higgins Rd.) west until you reach downtown East Dundee, then turn right at the Dairy Queen. If not for the throngs of people walking in and the music coming from the beer garden, you could easily miss it. Although it is often crowded, it never feels that way because the majority of the place is a HUGE outdoor beergarden made up of several stone patios, courtyards, beach bungalow bars, lighted palm trees, fountains and other water features. It will remind you of a true Caribbean nightlife experience. The waitstaff is plentiful and the crowds of people are actually a benefit, giving it an upbeat party atmosphere. There is plenty of seating and live music. They do have a menu of appetizers, sandwiches and basic entrees. Bevereges (I suggest the Rum Runners) come in souvenir cups that you can take home. I also have to say that the few times I have been there, they seem to have the cleanest washrooms I have ever seen in a bar. The live music is diverse - I have seen a classic rock cover duo and a 10 piece Reggae band on different occasions. Its a great place to take a group of rowdy friends on a hot summer night!
by Michael H. on I had never really been "clubbing" at a pick-u spot before. I've showered 93 times since, and I will never get the filth of this place off of me. I never felt like that kind of guy who looked down on club people, until I came here. Jcrew wearing suburban dbags as far as the eye can see!
by michelle M. on I came here because LIV asked me the birthday on my ID and I had no idea what it was and it was a Wednesday night so my options were limited. The place was hungry for girls - we skipped the entire line whre we were greeted with$25 cover charge and the place looked lame so we were about to leave but the bouncer was seriously concerned so he gave us 2 free tickets aka half off, so we stay. Basically this place is crawlin with creepers, literally. Guys will grab you from any end relentlessly. The music was great but seriously interrupted from the bumpin n grinding on every side of me. At the end of the night I grabbed my friends hand to leave and it was actually some random guy who wouldnt let go of me, just saying Wednesday night go to LIV oh also witnessed a clearly drugged girl dancing on the stripper pole (intended for hired dancers) getting fingered by a man. we told one of the workers. he didnt listen until the 3rd time at which point he escorted HER, not the guy, out of the club. whatever.
by Jason Stalter on Bandito Barneys has a great atmosphere the food is fresh and the portions are well sized the drinks are server with a smile and the staff are easy to see as they all where ties ( a few were a little dirty but when a 20 year old cutie approaches you as your waiter you tend to over look the dirt )the only other down fall that I found at barney's is while I was enjoying my drink I was asked if I was interested in new movies that I couldn't get at any store yet. and while it was a good deal I had gotten a bad taste from this.
by d on They just expanded the beer garden and it looks great, a castle like area with gardens various decks, bars, waterfalls, a beach. What more do you need. Food was great also.
by Coletta Poynor on Oh My God Buffy! Yeah, wow. The Cave was definitely an experience. Located in the back of Flow Nightclub, the Cave is Philadelphia's only male review. And what a review it was! The men are gorgeous and the show is fun. The music is amazing and did I mention the men are gorgeous?! Definitely a great place for a ladies night out. Thursdays are college night - 18 to enter 21 to drink - which is a bit inconvenient because you have to go upstairs to the bar. Apparently the downstairs bar is open on Fri/Sat. My one pet peeve - the host of the show got on my nerves so bad. He really messed up the flow of the show. Theoretically it would be 4 1/2 stars, but the men are gorgeous!
