by Danielle B. on What a scene! Every time I turned my head, I had a new, weird site to see. There was the wannabe Milli Vanilli/Rick James dude rocking the keyboard for the live band. Then there's the too old to be going out on a Saturday night couple grinding and sucking face on the dance floor. Sitting down, we have the middle-aged Russian men with the peroxide blonde hookers trying to earn a quick buck. Aside from all the interesting "scenery," I have had fun dancing here, as they have a pretty good mix of music. And the drinks are pretty tasty as well. The set-up is what I would imagine and old school Brat pack type lounge would be like. So, come to this place ready for some entertainment. It's the perfect mix of cheesy and classy.
by Wayne Bumpus on RE-WRITE !!!!!!!! If you had read my review about the Vertigo before, you'd see I had a very bad time, and was not happy. Well something crazy happened a few weeks after I wrote it. One of the owners of the bar read what I had wrote and sent me an e-mail about how sorry he was about my experience and wanted me to come back and try again. I was touched! NEVER have I seen this before. So I went back, here's what happened....... Last Saturday I stopped by with my gf and a few friends. This place was packed! The music was pumping and the DJ was spinning some PHAT beats. We worked our way to the smoking area, in the back, and got a table. I jumped out on the dance floor and shook my ass a little with my gf and friends, had a few too drink, and went over and met the owner. Very cool guy and the tenders were taking pics of the crowed to show up on the tv screens. I had a BLAST!!! Go here to drink up, shake your ass, and maybe get some embarrassing pics taken, you'll be happy you did!
