If you can't have a good time here you don't know how to live. We found this place just by accident one night and all I can say it was an experience. There's this big old vintage car parked outside the place and when you walk in it's like a Twilight Zone episode. You go up in an old elevator with an elevator operator--how retro is that??--the doors open and you are transported into a world of neon. It's a trip.  The music is way loud--just the way we like it--and the bar is packed with people having a good time. You'll find bowling pins in cases autographed by celebrities with everyone from movie stars to rock stars to celebrity chefs. We understand there is a nightclub upstairs that opens at 9p but we were too early for that one so we'll check it out next time. Bowlmor Lanes is really a cool place and you have to check it out sometime. We're so glad we did.

If you are looking for an upscale dinner with a interesting mix of spices - give the Spice Market a whorl. The restaurant, located in the midtown W hotel, is beautiful with the decor touches to evoke an Asian market. The dim lighting, comfy booths, the warm scented hand towels and the crispy pappadums with tomato chutney exude warmth along with an invitation to relax, enjoy and stay awhile. Our waitress and the rest of wait staff were helpful and friendly without hovering. Whether you go for nibbles and drinking or dinner you'll enjoy the experience and family-style dining in encouraged: We've shared: * samosas filled with perfectly spiced ground chicken and a cliantro yogurt dipping sauce *the avocado and radish salad with Chinese mustard and tempura onions - great flavor combination *Cod with Malaysian Chili sauce and Thai basil - delicately cooked fish with a sauce that packs a little heat and a wonderful splash of Thai basil * Vegetables in green curry * Fragrant black pepper shrimp with sun dried pineapple and an order of Vietnamese spring rolls - I didn't try these but they smelled divine and were quickly eaten by my fellow diners * Mushroom eggs rolls - OMG these are incredible. Perfectly spiced - worth a second order

"What'll ya have? What'll ya have? What'll ya have?" What'll I have? I'll have two Heavy Weights, a paper hat, one Glorified Steak, Sideways, Strings, A Bag of Rags and be sure to Ring One/Squirt One.
