Bottom line: Best brunch in town.  Hands down. This is my favorite place to grab brunch on a weekend.  Just like every other good brunch place in the world, the wait can become frustrating sometimes but it's usualliy manageble.  And unlike Sam's Morning Glory, they don't make you wait outside in the cold. Let's just cut to the chase: the french toast is the best I've had in a long freakin' time.  I don't care about Sabrina's, Morning Glory, Honey's Sit & Eat.  The way that Cafe Lift does it is unmatched.  The canoli cream and the chocolate flakes and the bananas and the pistachios aaaaaaaahh.  So good.  And if you're lucky enough to catch the seasonal pumpkin canoli french toast you'll die because it's ridic. The savory dishes are all great too.  Haven't had a bad one.  Their fennel sausage is awesome!  I've had steak tacos here that are better than a lot of Mexican restaurants.  And their hot sauce is good enough to inject IV.  This place just rules. Go here or live a life unfulfilled.

Okay, the good first. 1)  Hot gogo dancers 2) A trapeeze!  Where occasionally someone will actually do tricks on it! 3)  Great music 4)  Pretty cool layout and decor, with entertaining Korean music videos shown on the screen. Now, the not so good stuff. 1)  I think it's impossible for a guy to get in past 12, if he's not with like at least 3 girls. 2)  20 dollar cover charge! 3)  RIDICULOUSLY crowded, like no room to dance, and people shoving past you every 5 seconds. Pretty good, just for the novelty of going there, but the price and crowdedness make it a place I would not normally go back to.

This is one of the strangest places I've been. I went on a Friday night with some girlfriends for a private party downstairs for which we were supposed to be on the guestlist. Not the club's fault, but for one reason or another, we ended up not being on the list and would have had to pay for bottle service to get in. Last time I checked, this isn't New York. Do people actually pay for table service in Boston? Maybe that's just not my scene in this city and I'm confused. The bar on the ground level was packed with 40-something women trying to bust a move while 30-something men watched in horror and stared intensely at any female that walked in not wearing mom jeans. And those not wearing mom jeans were instead wearing baby tees as dresses, meaning you could pretty much see everything including the kitchen sink. Which brings me to the room upstairs. I give it an A for decor- I thought it was very pretty to look at, but the crowd of girls in those tiny dresses, so drunk I saw one actually wipe out on the dance floor, kind of killed the mood. I felt like I was back in college at a really bad frat party where creepy guys were taking advantage of the intoxicated females. But the music wasn't bad and the drinks tasted pretty good. I'll have to go back to give it one last chance in the hopes that it was just an off-night, but seriously, I couldn't spend more than an hour here.
