by Tope E. on BarChi was a surprise to both me and my companion. Located a brief stroll from congress, it not only had great quality but was also reasonably priced. If you are lucky enough to get there on a sunday, you will experience their happy hour special all day. This includes both sushi and drinks. The atmosphere is chilled and the waitresses are super friendly. If you are worried about missing the game, fear not. There is a screen by the bar where you can watch everything live! Otherwise this place is just awesome! I would recommend the sushi bento box and the green dragon! Peace!

by Forrest Ruud on Metro Lounge is a bar & nightclub in the Northern Liberties. Good drinks which are reasonably priced & I've never had a complaint about the tunes. Mainly because I only go there on the nights when I see they're showcasing breakbeats (so truly I have no clue what its like there when there isn't breaks or electronic), but all the same, any club that brings in breakbeats DJs on even a semi-regular basis is A-OK by me! There are two floors, the upper floor is without a doubt better suited for banging beats & dancing away. The vibe is usually quite friendly & casual, no pretensions here. Well I slightly take that back. One night my boyfriend & I showed up directly after dining somewhere upscale, we were rather dressed up. We stayed till the end, & upon leaving we overheard a small group of people snickering at us for being styled the way we were. *meow* haha! There is also a room of pool tables on the ground floor for anyone interested.
