I was searching for the best SF club to have my bday. Though I have never been to Infusion, it came down to this place because it had the best looking decor out of all the clubs in SF and my cousin was flying in from NY so I wanted to throw a party at a venue that was the most on the same par as the NY clubs! I do take rateclubs reviews seriously, so the 2.5 start rating really scared me. So I did my research and read through all of the reviews and then contacted Jeremy, the VIP Host at Infusion with my concerns. He responded to my concerns and I wouldn't say he made me feel 100% better, but one thing he made clear was that if my big party of 35+ got there on time and we had a 1:1 guy to girl ratio, it would be fine. People think that's ridiculous, but I wouldn't want to go to a sausage fest so I understood. I expressed my concerns about how they only got a 2.5 on rateclubs and how I want things to go smoothly cause if it doesn't, I'll write yet another bad review and Jeremy reassured me he'd take care of me so I reserved a table in the hip hop room for me and all my friends. The night of, we got there and were taken care of immediately. The security, the bouncers, the waitress, Jeremy, EVERYONE was on point and giving the best customer service possible. I was very pleased with how smoothly everything went! The hip hop room is SMALL, I wish they'd switch the, I guess it's electronic or whatever kinda music room, with the hip hop room. It was quite cozy in there but all my friends and I had a blast. The folks in there were cool, the crowd was diverse and there were more women than men, which is great hehe The music was good too. If Jeremy is still working, there, I'd book my party there again. It went flawlessly!

Popped in here on a Tuesday evening because the weekend crowd combined with a "no-reservations" policy makes the wait a nightmare on a Friday or Saturday night. Even on a Tuesday this place was at capacity. We didn't wait, but larger groups of 4 were. We sat in front of the kitchen and this place is really a machine when it comes to food production. The menu isn't hugely diverse, so the production line concept gets the food out fast, even on a busy night. I really loved seeing all the spices and lemon/lime juice that they seem to put on everything. The food here is really beautiful, yes, even a burger can be! It made me want to head to Ikea right away and get some white plates. I had a smoked caesar ($5) that was a perfect side to my Tuna Nicoise "burger of the day)". Great tuna and lots of interesting toppings made this a winner. Seared tuna with egg salad, bermuda onions and other random garden treats. It was good, though I'll have to try a burger next time. Luckily my companion got a bacon cheeseburger which I probably ate half of. Great stuff. This place deserves the hype, and based on how it's constantly busy others certainly agree. Do yourself a favor and try this place out during the week to see it you want to make the wait on a weekend night.

As one of the purveyors of "euro cool", I like to hang out in spots with many many (many) well dressed classy ladies. Such locations come and go with the seasons, but if you want it here and now, Harlot will be the place to get it. I would give this place 5 stars, as the venue itself is very nice. The lighting (all important) is light enough to see who you're talking to without losing that "sexy glow" vibe. The decor is edging toward aristocratic, but not too much so. Where Harlot loses its star is in its layout, which makes it very difficult to move from the front to the back. The spaces next to the bars are just too small, and it can be frustrating squeezing past everyone just to get back to your friends. Or maybe that's a good thing, depending on your perspective... I'll be back here for sure!
