I have used UPS hundreds of times over the years for sending personal and professional, work-related items. I probably use them now more than ever due to my current job. I have a hard time recalling a bad experience with UPS over the years and I have found their package tracking to usually be pretty reliable. It obviously doesn't give you an exact location but it gives you a general idea and I have never had a package that wasn't delivered when they said it would be and I ship and receive from all over the world using UPS. The only time I have been a little nervous with UPS (as others have pointed out on here) is when you have no choice but to have something delivered to your home during your work hours and they have to leave it at the door. I haven't had anything stolen yet but that's always a possibility. Fortunately, I can have most things sent to my office now. I usually don't interact with the drivers too much, but on the few occasions that I have, they have always been very helpful and friendly.

So my friend had a bunch of coupons for free games and shoe rental that was going to expire soon, so we dropped in on Bowl-Mor late on a Friday night. This place is a NY institution, which can account for it being packed all night long. It's confusing to get in, as it shares a line/elevator with Carnival. It's a $5 cover to get in, then you take the tiny elevator up to the fourth floor and put your name on the list for a lane. My friends got there earlier than me, and had already waited an hour and a half before I got there. Still, pitchers are cheap and we had a booth. The food looked average and overpriced, and there are tons of tvs around, but some of them were playing 80's music videos which is definitely a plus. Finally our buzzer goes off, we go to get our lane assignment and shoe rental ($19 I think?). We walk off to our lane, only to find that it's already occupied, having just been assigned 15 minutes before. We head back, complain, and get assigned another lane that's downstairs. The lane scoring system is about as old as the music videos playing, which meant it took forever to get turned on, and halfway through the second game it turned off and we had to start over again. That probably accounts for why they would assign people to a lane, mistakenly thinking its users are finished. Short story- bowling is awesome when drinking cheap beer with friends, especially when it's free. If I actually had to pay, I'd think twice.

if u like to jump thru hoops to get ur groove on, look no further! u can wait in line, pay $20 cover, and get inside to pay expensive drink prices (served in a dinky plastic cup - WTH!!). supposedly there's free cover before 10 however the promoters didnt show up till 10:15. Without the promoters they wont let u in, so now all people lined up B4 10 have to pay cover. Shady-ness!  the drinks tasted like gasoline and our bartender let us know how much she wanted to be tipped - got to give it up to her, at least she's assertive. Now, moving onto the positive: the music was pretty good and they kept up the energy throughout the nite. there's a patio area that has an outside bar if u want to relax and rest ur feet (high heels are no joke). the go-go dancers and performers were fun to watch. overall its not worth the hype but the dancefloor was live, i'll give it that.
