What's the only good thing I can say about this bar? ...Oh, you wanted me to answer? Hmmm let me think... oh! I got it! The foosball table! ...Oh, you're right, it was broken the last time I was there. Umm what about the, uh, pool tables? ...Yeah, it does seem impossible to get one of those. What about... the music? ....Oh, you're right, they are almost always mediocre cover bands. Cover bands can be awesome sometimes... but not so much at Sherlock's. But have you tried the food? ....Yeah, I wouldn't either.

You're right.. A place does not get 5 stars based on how tough the door is. It gets 5 stars because I was treated well with service, the bouncers were kind to me, the crowd was cool, and the bartender was quick with my order. My friend and I stumbled upon this place on saturday night, halloween weekend thinking it was different lounge. We by passed the insane line and went up front to the bouncer and let us right in. Lines are for ugly girls. Kidding. If you act clueless and you're nice, theres no reason for a group of girls to wait in line wearing nothing but lingerie for a "costume". There is no cover and I assume its a very tight door. Probably have better chances getting in if you don't have boys. When we got in it was packed and dark. Music is good , sounds good, but the space is kind of small. I think the drinks are supposed to be expensive since everyone seems to say so, but we got comp tickets and I also knew one of the bartenders. Look for a tall, dark hair and handsome guy, Cliff. Hes an awesome drink slinger and makes drinks strong. The crowd is gorgeous, one of the best I've seen. Everyone was dancing and having a great time so it wasn't one of those pretentious crowds. I recommend this place. I'd like to give it another try when its not a crazy holiday weekend.

MOJITOS, MOJITOS!! If you have to have them in Miami for a reasonable price, have them here. And by reasonable I mean $9/bucks a pop as oppsed to $18 for the same 10oz drink. Yes, some places in Miami are outrageously expensive because THIS celebrity and THAT celebrity have been spotted there. But I digress......Mango's is a great place to hang out all day as Jonathan stated, though I didn't. But the staff is great and will dance for you and with you if you like. I heard the food was great, carne asada and the like. And you just can't beat it for a live floor show and band. It's a party, party and all the people are friendlier after a few mojitos. I'd rate this high as a place for single women travelers as well.
