I was very excited to dine here based on the rave reviews......however, it did not meet my expectations. Service was not only slow, but painfully slow! I tried a wide array of sushi, but none of it was killing me. In fact,  I thought it was quite average. I will say that the green tea ice cream was delicious, but there is no way I would sit through a 3 hour mediocre dinner again just to have a great dessert. For my money, I'll head back over to Sushi Avenue. I wish I could give this place two and a half stars.

I wouldn't put a lot of stock into the couple/few bad reviews on this page so far.  Most I would wager are the extremely vocal minority, as is always the case with those who don't like a place. East Andrews (and more so Andrews Upstairs) is a very classy establishment where young professionals with successful careers like to go hang out and have a good time with like minded individuals, and look good while doing it. This is definitely one of my favorite places to hang out, especially when they have a good band going.  I've never experienced anything pretentious about this place that former reviewers keep going on about. The crowd is super responsive to the band, bartenders are attentive and mix stout drinks, and whomever keeps saying $4.50 is a high price for a beer hasn't been out much. The drinks here are no more (or less) than any other popular nightclub in Atlanta that's not a complete dive. The reviews are dead on in one respect, however.  This is definitely not the place for you to find the dressed down A&F tee-shirt, frayed shorts and flip-flop wearing abercrombie clone crowd.  You're not going to find a lot of drunken frat boy behavior here, either (which I consider an incredibly good thing). But, if you want to have a great time, hear a great band, hang out with some classy young professional people, it's a great place. If you still think this place is pretentious after going once of twice, then my god don't go to Opera, Compound, or any other popular midtown nightclub (which I also like, by the way, too).  It might open your eyes to wait a casual and openly fun place Andrews can be by comparison.

Huge club with more than enough people to fill it.  I went when Jurassic 5 and Dilated Peoples (among others) were there and they had people on the dance floor all night.  From the looks of it, it was mostly casually dressed twenty-somethings.  But, after about an hour I was ready to go.  That's just not the type of music I can really dance to. There's a comfy lounge area upstairs with a bar and there was always a ottoman to sit on. Hey, I got in for free, so I can't complain.  Overall, its alright.
