by Kat B. on Highlands, Highlands, Highlands. Yeah it may be Asian central, yeah drinks are expensive, and expect to wait in line but nonetheless, I've always had fun here. I am so thankful that a good friend of ours promotes for this club and gets us in like that; no waiting, no cover, no questions! Thank you Dennis and Ian! :o) This place is huge! Even when it's a poppin' night, there is still room to walk around, dance, and it's not a push-and-shove war to get to the bathroom (which is clean and well equipped for the most part). The only time I recall it being somewhat crowded was when America's Best Dance Crew winners Super Crew was there, a member of the JabbaWocKeeZ, and some members of Fanny Pack. They play great music and you can just walk out to the next room or to their huge outdoor patio if you need a break. They aren't strict about sitting down on their couches either which is definitely good news for the ladies out there with 5 inch heels. Okay so there are a tons of Asians here ... so what! At least they're the stylish ones that you like to complement like on their strappy heels or sparkly hair barrette. And at least they're the ones that actually smile and dance and not the wangster G-thug ones that don't even speak English so it seems like they're talking shit about you if you accidentally bump into them! I always have fun here and I'm sure you will too if you come with your most fun girlfriends and sip on some Patron and Sprite! :o) P.S. USEFUL FACT: When parking in the parking structure, don't forget to get your stub validated. You only pay $3 as compared to $10!

Reach out and touch faith! As you can see, I remember the last two Thursdays well and loved every minute of it. I even got to dance to take on me with a guy who had abs ripped to kingdom come who let me touch em during my favorite 80's song by AHA. http://www.youtube.com.... He ran away after the song ended, because his girlfriend was giving him the stink eye...heh, heh. It was fun and campy and AWESOME! One star for being dark and clubby. One star for the goth room with all the Cure I ever would want! One star for playing all my cheesy eighties favorite including my relative-everyone who is Filipino is related, Stevie B...I went to the concert at Great America with our relatives...strange, but true... One star for cool, high up dance floor places so short people won't get trampled. One star for the fan, oh, the fan and of course, the music. Just one thing-DON'T PLAY THE SAME SONG TWICE IN THE SAME NIGHT! That is my only constructive criticism. Oh a couple more things-leave the Marina folk at home, It's SOMA! So no stupid humping each other's leg during Duran Duran. You look pathetic. Get campy and bring out the claws! If you don't, I know you have dated yourself and were born in the eighties and had a pacifier that gave you much more pleasure than Purple Rain. You were too young to remember all the cheesy videos to appreciate it and you need to go home or make out with some bridge and tunnel folk. Ohmagah, you guys would be like, such a cute couple, like wow! Whatever! This is where I get down, with no drama, and get some non-stop dancing, exercising, with some great girls, and absolutely no BS. My dancing is serious dancing-like all Zoolander and shit, so no "The Claw" will not work on me. I'm going home alone 100% of the time! Woo hoo!!!! by today y. on ReggaeGold is the best ass grindin' good you can have. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday, go. 20 bucks is a lot, and cash only sucks, but it's so kick ass fun, whatever. Wear anything you like to sweat and move in, take fun friends, love the crowd, great vibe.
