Okay so this is definitely a dope venue.  If someone you love is appearing here, don't think twice - buy your tickets, go enjoy the show.  Mighty isn't without issues but overall, I mean, if it sounds good then you go. The sound stage itself is fantastic, although after a couple hours it can be so bass-heavy as to actually hurt a little.  You don't frequently get bass that literally hurts your ears, so my recommendation is to enjoy it when the opportunity arises. Also, lots of parking. Now, I came here for a Z-Trip show recently and I would have a ton of complaints except my buddy tells me Z-Trip himself took responsibility for most of them, which were timeliness-related.  The one thing Mighty did do, though, is blatantly oversell the venue.  By the time the event was in full swing - past midnight - it was just way too packed.  I mean like, what it feels like to be in the first couple rows at a Rage concert.  Except through the whole place.  I ended up leaving early. And then I stood at Potrero and 16th for 45 minutes, freezing my ass off in my sweat-soaked clothes, waiting for a cab to actually stop and pick me up.

I like the design at Rosa Mexicano - it is definitely trendy and hip, which could be a good or bad thing depending on your mood. I like the grilled ceviche, the calamari, and the chicken tacos. I saw their brunch menu while I was there and it looks pretty good. I love this place mostly for margaritas on a girls night. These are (so far) only located in NYC, Washington DC, and Palm Beach, so I'm surprised Atlanta snagged one. EDIT 2/22/08: I have since been back and the food quality has definitely gone down hill. Service is awful as well, and it's passed its prime. If they keep filling Atlantic Station with things like this, it will end up a dried up place that once began as a good idea.

I love Sullivan Room! There I said it! Every time I go I have a great time, even though it's ALWAYS packed to the gills and hard to dance, but who cares...the vibe is chill...mix of people add for some interesting eye candy and they bring in decent djs. I'm looking forward to the renovations...hopefully they'll knock down some walls and just make the place bigger!
