by Doug B. on What a bummer! I was so looking forward to a place in the neighborhood to sit down with a great pizza and a cold one. Couldn't wait to get my first taste of their pies. Eeesh! A really nice, crispy thin crust absolutely destroyed by overly sweet sauce and way too much garlic. If they would just license Slice's recipe, you'd never get me out of the place.
by Travis Littler on When I was young I did stupid shit. I also did stupid shit three years ago. One of the dumb things I did three years ago was leave my friends here and get in a van - yes, a FUCKING VAN - when I was wasted with two strange guys so we could smoke pot. They also gave me a ride home, though they wouldn't listen to directions and we ended up almost at Ocean Beach when I freaked the fuck out and insisted that they turn around and bring me home. Luckily I carry a buck knife and open it and slide it into my sleeve when I'm uncomfortable - even more luckily, I didn't have to use it. I don't smoke pot anymore. But I'll still come here occasionally. It's not my favorite destination, but it will do sometimes.
