by Stanley K. on The first time I was here was 8 years ago. I was visiting some friends and we arrive in SFO pretty late, I wanted to find an after hours party, this is where we went. First time, I thought, it was great, a club that had dance music, awesome back patio, and people to talk with. Little did I pay attention to the "other" things that were going on. So, last Friday, a friend of mine had tickets to go see Sandra Collins at DNA lounge but she failed to tell me about it. So after drinking at Olive and Amelie, we decided to go to End Up. She wanted to dance and I wanted to drink more. It was certainly a whole new experience. I never seen so many drunk and drugged up people in my life. Great time for first timers and old guys like me who like to party like an animal, well, that night I did. FYI: $20 cover, re-entry is permitted. =)
by Tyree Berner on Well...I went here to meey two of my beautiful girls. I didn't wait on line more than 2 minutes, which was good. 20 bucks before 12am? What the hell? So the place turns out to be beautiful, CLEAN, well-ventilated. Clean bathrooms. RUDE BARTENDERS AND BAD BAD BAD BAD drinks. Just...wowo. "Why I am I even paying" status. Watered down everything. Surprise surprise, I order a Heineken and they let me keep the bottle. I was just waiting for some one to spark beef. It would've been a quick green bottle groove. The music DOWNSTAIRS was by a talented female Asian DJ. Don't know her name. She was rockin it. Sadly everyone drifted to the main room... Where DJ L was playing. I know him reasonably well. We did business once. I don't care for him much. He's a little conceited. Although he went from being totally unable to mix, to now mixing proficiently at a club. He sucks. All his music sounded slow and sapped of it's energy. HOW DO YOU PLAY 10 SECONDS OF FLIPSIDE, BUT LET WACK LIL JON play for the full 4 minutes. Just not good music. Overall...I left at 1.30...way too early. We were all bored. We had a blast downstairs...only to be dragged upstairs and suffer from a wack DJ.
by Chloe-Lynn O. on Wow, judging from the rest of the reviews-- this place sucks! I'll have to join the crowd tho, I was not impressed by this place at all. We were coaxed into paying $300 for bottle service that really wasn't worth it at all. My friends had all gotten there early and 'luckily' caught the open bar and got cups upon cups of drinks (house liquor of course), needless to say-- half my friends were all grumpy and in bad moods by the end of the night. And um, the drinks were nasty! The place is big but in the beginning of the night, half the club was closed off-- they didn't open it up until more people came (and by this I mean they wait til everyone was stepping on everyone else's toes). It seems the club was laid out like this: entrance, common folk area, vip, uber-vip, and super uber-vip. And if you smoke? FORGET ABOUT IT, they have a designated area for smokers the size of a dog cage.
