Before I get into it, I need to disclaim that I've really never been into strip clubs, but I've been to a few. This place is really not that cool. It's pretty funny at first, and the server we had was really really entertaining. But unless you're into fat Hispanic strippers with small tits, I would try somewhere else. At first I was excited that there were pool tables, so my buddy and I decided to play a game. Not recommended. We spent most of the time trying to maneuver around the cramped room, bumping into guys getting lap dances and such. So awkward. On the plus side, lap dances are only $10, which seems like a pretty good deal, but I might be more inclined to pay to keep most of these girls from touching me.

Went to Rouge last week because we got table service and I had friends in town. The night that we came was actually not bad at all. It was on a Friday during the Meet Market night hosted by ICraveSF. Since we had bottle service, our group of 16 didn't have to wait in line and we got in for free. When we first got in, it was around 10:20 and it was pretty much empty. But considering the time, I didn't think it was much of a problem. By the time 11:00-11:15 came around, the club was pretty packed. Based on the venue, the place is alright. The dance floor is pretty small, but the interior decor is pretty cool. Dark red on the inside with chandeliers hanging sporadically around the club. The vibe that they're going for is cool. Other than that, the venue is just alright. Nothing to really be excited about. I think I had a pretty good experienc here only because my friends and I had bottle service. We got the largest booth next to the DJ table, so we had lots of space to walk around, mingle, and dance. Since we had service, we didn't really need to worry about waiting in line at the bar. However, I did go to the bar once to buy a drink, and it took forever! So I'm guessing I wouldn't have had a good time if I was a regular patron that night. On top of that, our table waitress was great : very friendly, and took away/brought new cups to our table really quickly. Also, she threw in two bottles of champagne on the house, which actually tasted really great! Also, the music was really good that night. Since it was hosted by promoters, I'm guessing the music was probably a lot better than if it was just a regular night (based on other people's reviews). Overall, I had a great time here. Bottle service is pretty good here, which was the reason why I chose to come here. I had lots of space to dance my drunken butt off all night long to some good music.

Reminds me of the song "I smell sex and Candy" Wow. I used to go to Rise all the time when it cost only a super sized #5 to get in. As I got older and I actually liked to function during the day instead of sleeping it away, Rise became a thing of the past. No more glowy stuff or stamped little thing you can pop to zone. The only problem. I still love loud music and to dance. Now instead of popping a few things, I down five large Red Bulls and just dance, dance dance. If you aren't into the scene, than just ignore everyone who is drunk from the club before, high from their bathroom trip or more into getting down on the couches. Some things to note: If you aren't a member you will pay at least $20. Every third person under 35 in Boston is one, so you won't have trouble finding someone....Coat check and drinks are cheap (non alcoholic), make sure you check out what is going on that night or what DJ will be there. Larger events/DJ's the cover will be even more and the crowd even larger!
