by Cindy H. on I've only been there once (recently) and I'm reading the previous reviews which are either hit or miss. However, here is MY first impression/experience of the place... At first, this place looked kinda shaddy from the outside. It's located out in the boonies of sf-ish so I never expected it to be super awesome. Boy oh Boy was I pleasantly surprised by Mighty! #1 Reason why I like this place is the CHILL atmosphere. I appreciate the whole feel of the place because it's not an uppidy club where people need to dress up. At the same time, if you feel like dressing up.. this is still an appropriate place to go since most of the people that attend this club are super chill/relaxed AND they probably DO NOT GIVE A *BLEEP* about what you're wearing. I think this is a rare thing to find at any venue! The DJs were OFF THE HOOK! If you enjoy old school music(90's hiphop/rap) or underground music -- this is definitely the place to go. Mighty is a good venue if you're looking for a place to dance your stress away. The crowd is very diverse, which gives this place even more 'character' than it originally had. NOTE TO LADIES: Ya know how there are always those gross creepy pervo looking men that try to dance up on you when all you really wanna do is dance with your girlies/friends? Well, the good thing about Mighty is that there are LESS of those gross creepy pervo men ... however... please notice how I emphasis LESS instead of NONE. Let's face it.. no matter which club you decide to attend there will always be at least a few of those nasty pervo looking men lurking around the dance floor and looking for their next intoxicated prey
by N R. on One happening place in WeHo on a Saturday. Decent cover of $5. A cocktail averages at $12. Crowd was fun. Music was good. My friends and I couldn't get ourselves away from the dance floor. The go-go dancers were of course hot-hot-hot as well as the bartenders. Street parking in surrounding blocks and there are parking lots too ($10). The only thing that I found odd was that the dance floor area got hot quickly. I think they didn't switch the air conditioning on which was annoying. How can you get your groove on when your feeling a little icky and sweaty? That is not cute! But overall, the experience there was fun. Would I go back? Probably.
by Darryl Tichenor on Gotta love Remedy. Fun times if you you're into house and dancing. Friendly crowd and friendly vibes, and quality dj's and guests. There's definitely a strong house scene there, but everyone can have a good time. Usually circle is on stage or on side of the floor, so plenty of room for everyone, plus there's a big bar and another hip-hop room upstairs. Can't forget the crepe trailer across the street and it's really nice of DNA to give out earplugs... ask by the coat-check (upstairs). At the moment, it's no longer a weekly, but they still have a monthly and plenty of other events. Good idea to get on discount/guest-list, usually available on their site ( http://remedysf.com).
