I'm sure this is the spot for Brunch, but it's definitely NOT the spot for dinner. It was GNO since our girlfriend was visiting from HK, so Christine C suggested Lime as her welcome home dinner. I asked her if the food here was any good, she replied with "it's more so for the atmosphere than the food," which i completely agree with.  :) The moment i've entered lime, i felt like this can be a really fun bar/lounge.The reason being is because of the loud and type of music they were playing. Don't get me wrong, their music selection was awesome :) I caught myself jamming to a few of my favorite hits :) Food - everything here is frozen, it's not fresh so do not expect a spectacular dinner! The portion and style that lime serves are all small plates enough for each person!

I had to wait an hour in line with a bunch of kids decked out in Euro clothes. Meanwhile, a swarm of rich "socialites"-- sons of Saudi oil tycoons and Latin American millionaires-- march right to the front and are immediately allowed in because they got cash. Great way to start the night. Finally, I get in. And I have to say: I absolutely love the place. It's huge, and it's nice on the inside. House music was blaring, and it was simply spot on! Snookie and the Sitch would be all over this place! So what sucks? The crowd. I'm not a fan of rich Euro wannabe internationals filling the scene. I'm so sorry, I forgot to bring my precious Prada murse. It was often difficult to distinguish the woman from the men that clearly lacked testosterone. So go with your own crew, and do your own thing, and make sure it's everyone pay day, cuz this place is pricey. Apart from that, I think it's worth checking out!

I have been to Pietro's once or twice a year for the last 5 years.  The reason I return is because it's convenient (especially when you're doing some Xmas shopping or you're short on ideas and wandering around aimlessly in Rittenhouse square) and it accomodates large groups for grubbing (and you can order all entrees and salads family style) Okay, so it's not like all the other amazing Italian BYOs in the city, that's for sure.  But it's open for lunch. You can always get a table. And they give you unlimited bread... and it's infinitely better than Olive Garden (but that's not saying much, is it?) I liken Pietro to that decent restaurant you go to in a Mall when you don't want to eat in the food court.  The Pizza is good, thin and crispy and they always serve it with fresh basil on top.  Their pasta dishes aren't the most sophisticated - and sometimes bland - but again, I think it's a few steps above Olive Garden. Service is prompt, friendly and the prices are reasonable-ish for Rittenhouse. So if it's a battle between the food Court and Olive Garden, I say Pietro wins.
