by Anne K. on Well, it can still have the nickname 'whole paycheck' the prices are sky high (I mean really, $7 for a box of Kashi cereal??), but can anyone truly compare to the quality & selection of organic goods & produce? Not. I'm looking forward to the location I hear they are opening at Wm Cannon & Mopac because frankly this location is a pain in the neck to go to. Always busy, no matter the day or hour. One day (fortunately, as I was leaving), there were no more carts outside - and they have alot - so you know it was packed! They are in the midst of a redo this week, supposed to be completed this weekend. They'vd moved some things around and their signs haven't caught up yet so you may have to hunt in the next couple of days. Overall a must.
by Adrienne C. on This is probably my least favorite place in the SF. I've been here many times - mostly for bottle service - and the front door is absolutely horrible. Think "Knocked Up" club scene x100, even if you're with a group that has a table, even ration of guys:girls, etc. I feel bad that the bouncers have to hang with the douche extrodainaire out front for the whole night. The decor is cool, the upstairs is the best area of the entire club, music is awesome and drinks are good. But, abslutely not worth it in any terms.
by Charles Bhatt on Well, at least it's not on W. 27th with all the other douche pits. It's a club, New York is full of 'em and this one doesn't wow me as much as others. They say they're trying to be anything but a "Models and Bottles" club but their first party was just that - hedgefund managers and the women who love them. Still, I don't turn down an invite. It makes a nice alternative. UPDATE: After coming here again on a Thursday night I've got to reduce the number of stars to three. Their sound system is way, WAY too loud - almost deafening. Plus they wouldn't check my friend's fur coat because they didn't want to accept liability? What's up with that? An upscale lounge should expect women to be checking expensive furs and coats - ridiculous. They need to get their act together. The DJ also sucks - terrible mixing and old music.
