The whale sharks were amazing! The decoration was also nice- the tanks had interesting overhead designs an the walls resembled tree or stone. The tanks weren't just place in boring squares one after another

Had a really good night here. No drama or dissatisfactions. Plus the lady bartender poured us the biggest portions of shots I've ever witnessed..everr!! Good music and nice modern venue. Thanks to Rocky for the hook-up!

My friends, co-workers, and associates seem to love to take me to lame places on a regular basis. I have no clue why this place is so popular, but I'll tell you this much: I've been to MIGHTY several times and have yet to actually have a truly enjoyable clubbing experience there. As a live venue, it's not bad. Seeing Ali Shaheed Muhammed perform on stage was excellent. However, I don't attribute that to the venue as much as I attribute it to the performer. Let's look at the facts: an all cash bar. You mean I can't have an open tab? Are you serious? In this day and age at a live venue, you're going to force me to hit up an ATM just because you (as a venue) were too cheap to get a freakin' merchant account. And on top of that, your ATM machine is going to charge me $2.00 to get my money out? Strike one, mis amigos. Strike one. Fact number two: the bartenders are terrible. In my most recent visit, I ordered one of my typical drinks (vodka + 7up) several times and not once did it actually taste good. Much like a handful of other crappy locations, the drinks were often completely ruined by the ridiculous amount of ice in the drink, followed by a three-count of liquor, with a mere splash of 7up. I mean, I like vodka as much as the next guy, but if I wanted straight vodka I would have asked for it. Strike two. And last, but definitely not least, fact number three: I just don't like the place. I've tried to like it; I've tried over and over again and failed miserably every time. The bartenders are un-responsive to the point of being non-responsive. The drinks are often less than stellar. In fact, now any time I go there I just drink beer because everything else probably takes too much creativity for the bartenders to handle. I. Hate. Beer. The bouncers don't seem to understand anything about capacity so on a busy night "crowded" would be too inaccurate a description. Did I mention there's no ventilation? Yeah. Strike three. I'm done with this place. It's good enough to come to if one of my favorite performers is coming to town... but that's about it.
