by Ruby K. on My friends and I got bottle service and I had a lot of fun. I think it was around $400 something with tip for a 1L bottle Grey Goose, which can allow 8 guests in for free with no wait. The table was at perfect distance from the dance floor. I almost got kicked out for getting into conflict with this couple, but the the bouncers or the manager was very reasonable when we explained the situation. Or least I think they were through my drunkness since I did not get kicked out. Overall good experience. $14 for a big glass of Sex on the Beach with so much vodka that I did not want to drink it. You get your money's worth I guess. I do not think I will ever want to be on guestlist nor wait in line though. I heard a lot of people waited and couldn't get in. They even have a guy/girl ratio for bottle service!
by Renato Scholfield on Love it, love it, love it. Always great music here Monday - Sunday. The staff is friendly and there's always a nice mixture of people. Its not the same spot you remember back in the day with a bunch of weird tweeker looking fools lurking around. best nights are Saturdays (2nd & 4th) with Revival Sound System for some 60's soul, lovers rock reggae and my Saturday nite. UK Boogie, 80's Soul music. Always freee
by Ginger E. on The Velvet Margarita is a hard one to review. I had my birthday party there about a month ago and a definite good time was had...but I left with complaints. We had a reservation for 8, but we were not seated until about 8:40. It then was another twenty minutes before we saw our waiter. By the time we got our food most of the table's hunger had passed. The food was alright, nothing to write home about. Then to the bar. The drinks were good, not shockingly expensive. Outside is a fun patio, but that night they were out of propane for the heat lamps. The crowd was a little lack luster and not much excitement was going on. The decor is their saving grace. The bathrooms are fantastic. It might be a good place to start the night, but move on quickly to any other bar in the area.
