by Kara G. on This is my review of Webster Hall as a music venue... I feel a great sadness when a band I like comes to Webster Hall. The sound is always terrible, the coat checkers are rude and charge $4 per item. This is especially frustrating in the winter - eachhat, coat, scarf is an extra accessory at $4 each. That blatant abuse of a necessity is really annoying. If you want to see a show, get there early because the sound is especially bad towards the back and sides.
by Patrick V. on Not a bad, spot. My friend she knew the promote so we got in for free, that's always a plus... Music top 40, drinks you could taste the alcohol thats a plus. Bartender Nikki, she's a hottie... Pretty nice spot for a Friday night,
by Kieth Deitrick on This place is disgusting and an embarrassment for anyone else other than middle school church groups. I had out of town family here and someone suggested going here. I made several other suggestions. This is Atlanta and we do have some great restaurants. This particular person insisted and the out of town guests did not have a clue. It was a "Oh you have to go the Varsity" moment. Blech. I joined them but I refused to eat. The out of town guests were less than thrilled. After waiting in line forever to get a tiny burger and hot dog and soggy fries and soggy onion rings, I think that they were having a "WTF?" moment. The line took forever and the food was soaked in grease fast food. It was so apparent they were lying when they were asked about the food. I guess the ambiance is interesting, I'll give it a star for that. Please people, give your guests a break and take them somewhere else.
