by Harrison Xander on I went on a Tuesday night and it was LAME! I made dinner reservations in order to check this club out. Dinner was alright, in my opinion overpriced. The interior was the only positive thing about this club. The people were...weird. There was a guy playing a FLUTE to his group... a flute! The crowd is old...go next door to the Cabana instead if you want a good time. Also, the mac and cheese was not happening. My friends got it and let me say that Kraft Mac and Cheese is wayyy better!
by Arnab M. on Great space and a great choice for the summer kick off party. Extra points for the best company of fellow rateclubsers and YAY for finally meeting a whole bunch of other rateclubsers. Minus one star because Tali A. and I had a hard time finding this place since the "218" is obscure and there are no signs, until someone on the street noticed that we were completely lost, clearly, and directed us towards it. Ohhh, the caffeinated vodka, interesting, got me buzzed and awake? But I'm not quite sure. The DJ was playing good music, and kudos to Sam P. and Russ W. and everyone else who helped organized the event, it was fab.
by alexa c. on Waziema is good. It's a restaurant/bar so it's a great place for dinner or maybe just a few drinks. Ethiopian is always a tricky one, not something I necessarily want to eat in a group setting since you use your hands. I have had dinner here and it was quite nice. The staff was great and the service was good too considering the place was packed. The drinks are inexpensive and fairly stiff. Great place to kick it before a show at The Independent.
