by Joanna L. on FPN in midtown is a great way to start (or end) your night out. There is a huge patio area, partially covered, and an upstairs area for dancing to the live music (usually of a pretty sweet cover band). It's a nice break from the usual midtown scene. Front Page is great whether you just want to grab a few casual drinks after dinner, or rock out to 80s tunes. I hear they've got a killer Bloody Mary bar, which I've yet to try... soon enough, soon enough.
by Naoko M. on Came to Prana w/ a large group of girlfriends for DAT. The service was very nice from the moment I made my reservation. My vegetarian friends liked the fact that Prana's DAT menu actually provided options for them, and they raved about the butternut squash soup. I opted for the red lettuce salad w/ prosciutto and warm pistachio brie. YUM! For entrees, my party of 7 got either the lamb or the saag paneer ravioli. I heard the ravioli was just ok. My lamb was quite tasty, though 1 was cooked more than the other so the flavors were different. The tandoor sauce was tasty but I think it overpowered the natural flavors of the lamb too much (I heart lamb). The garlic mashed potatoes were yummy and well seasoned, and the "buttered long beans" came w/ lots of garlic, which I loved. The dessert was rather disappointing. I opted for the baked chocolate and raisin cheesecake. It was more chocolate than anything else and I really wanted some cheesecake. The bottom was a chocolate crust w/ a rather thin "filling" of "raisin cheesecake" covered with a 2 mm thick square of chocolate. Too much chocolate and not enough cheesecake. I heard the rum crepes were awesome though. The ambiance here is nice, the food is overall really good. Service, again, is good. I think the menu here is really creative but sometimes things don't turn out the best. I'd still recommend it though!
by Shelby Deskins on 5 stars because this place and my friends succeeded in messing me up for my 21st birthday indeed.. I haven't gone back since though. I plan to explore the SF world more until i run out of places and maybe i have to come back here. AMFs here were purely disgusting though.. i remember we kept on asking for sprite or some soda to dilute the drinks because it was way too strong for us to even take a sip out of it. spacious dance floor. there is an upstairs dance floor/bar. It wasn't that crowded up there compared to the main dance floor. there's a stage for you to show us what you got.. i was up there for a good amount of time with my friends of course.. other than that.. i don't remember much other than alot of my friends came out for me, took pictures, drank with them.. in the end...alcohol hit me all at once after the party was over.. ended up telling my friend to stop the car at various places in SF so i can do my post-party thing... I definitely marked my territories on my 21st birthday...why is becoming 21 such a BIG DEAL?!?!! hahahha
