by Katie W. on I've only been here once and I didn't order tacos, nor did I partake of margaritas. I had chicken fajitas and a vodka soda, so there you go. We got a table quickly upon arrival, which was great. By the time we left, it was pretty packed out. They do have a nice little seating area if you do have to wait. I'm off the margaritas so I asked about what flavored vodka they had. They had none. So, I ordered a Kettle and soda with fruit and it was fine and not really unexpected in a place that focuses on margaritas. I was trying to be healthy-ish so I opted for the chicken fajitas. It was a very large portion with nicely seasoned chicken, onions, and zucchini. It did not come with any toppings (no sour cream, no guacamole, no cheese) but did come with a side of beans. I did not mind the lack of toppings since I am on a quest for health and I did enjoy the fajitas. I also enjoyed the leftovers the next day. Our server was OK but she was not terribly accommodating and it took ages to get the to-go box. Otherwise, everything was A-OK. I probably would not rush back here but I would think of it if I was in the neighborhood and would go here without need of convincing if someone suggested it.
by Ryan J. on "We are famous for our burgers." Famous last words. I used to come here in high school. And they had GREAT burgers. Plus, they would serve me alcohol at age 16. Niiiiiice. Ah, SF Saloon, what the hell happened to you??? I went here for the first time in years, and something happened. New ownership? Perhaps, I'm not sure. But the food was downright shitty. Service was great. The waitress was hilarious and friendly. Drinks are fine. In fact, only go here for drinks. I ordered one of the burgers, and it was a dried out little patty. There was something in the meat, I'm not sure what, but it was something that shouldn't have been in there. Inedible. I'm only giving this 2 stars because it's a good place in the neighborhood to grab drinks. Otherwise, I say SF Saloon you sold out and got cheap on your meats. And for a burger joint, that makes you famous for being shitheads.

Pretty good DJ with really good music, very good drinks from the bartenders and lots of room to sit down, and lots of room to get your groove on. On that note, allow me to tell a little story about me and this lovely girl that I met that night: Well, she walked up to me and she asked me if I wanted to dance. She looked kinda nice and so I said I might take a chance. When we danced she held me tight And when she walked me home that night All the stars were shining bright And then she kissed me.
