by Jacob R. on This one one of the greasiest burgers I every put in my stomach, but I kind of like it that way. Better than your typical fast-food burger, but much more greasy. After all this had a good meat/bread ratio, and tasted like something cooked on a grill, not flash fried from frozen. Still, the grease is what I was tasting, delicious sweet grease. We also got the largest portion of a single order of fries and onion rings imaginable. It was seriously too much. I had been drinking all night, and didn't take this as a nice gesture of a large portion. No, I took it as a challenge to eat all the fries, which I did... and than most of my friends onion rings. Please don't tempt me like that. While the fries were nothing special and lacked flavor before adding salt and pepper, the onion rings where a crispy flavorful experience. Is this the best burger in Austin, hell no. Was this a good late night after bar stop, oh yeah it was. Plus it has a small bit of history and nostalgia, which always makes a trip more enjoyable for any building.
by Terry C. on Great place for strong drinks, good dancing, and fun atmosphere. We went here to celebrate my partner's 30th Birthday and had a blast. The only drawback is the size of the upstairs dance floor. Because it is so small and gets crowded quickly - they limit the number of people who can enter. This makes it rough if you have a big party there and some of them go outside... It may take them 30 - 40 minutes to get back in. The club is tucked away in a cozy little alley, so as your party spills out of the club they can congregate in front of the bar and be obnoxious! Woo-hoo!! It was a great night and lots of fun!
by Roy Wisser on Music is pretty good here, lots of variety since there are several dance floors. Crowd is diverse. They say "dress to impress" but I'm learning in NYC, that doesn't mean sh*t. People rolled in w/hats, bandanas, ended up in wife beaters doin' the soulja' boy across the hip hop dance floor. Interesting to watch. Drinks are pricey. On our night, there was a strip contest at 2am, and the host was encouraging utmost raunchiness: "All you sexy b*tches, come up here for $500!" Dudes came up to try and win the money, and some in their drunken stupor yanked their draws all the way down and began thrusting their packages wildly at the crowd. "AHHH!!!!!! shrieked the host, and cut the lights. LOL That was interesting also, I won't come back though, for dancing and mingling, this place is not the place to be. Don't bother dressing to impress.
