by megan k. on when i was a kid,i would cut school, hop on the el, and hide out in here. i went back this year, and i was scared. no reason to ever go back in there. i felt unsafe. it gave me the creeps.

I make a living in the nightclub business and have worked and played in the hottest nightclubs in the world and all I have to say is that for an Austin, TX lounge, Prague hits the mark. The staff at Prague is definitely an A+ staff from service to looks and the atmosphere is on par with lounges in Los Angeles and Miami. I was very pleasantly surprised. Im still not ok with not being able to smoke in a club, but I guess thats just an Austin thing so I cant really hold it against them. We had a table on the VIP stage and were given access to the fridge which contained party favors such as beer, water, red bull, and even a disposable camera and some condoms. This is the kind of extra perk that I only expect in larger markets such as Vegas or Miami. They really know their stuff!
by Erin O. on This place is inconsistency at it's finest. Some of the dishes, are excellent, but the service was a bit misguided. It took plenty of time to get our drinks, and we had to beg for the check at the end, but they gave us a dish that we did not order, and did not charge us for. The setting is great for a hip, trendy environment, unless you actually want to see the food. I cannot speak for how the food looked, because I literally had a hard time seeing the food. Their specialty drinks were, okay, with some of the flavors not really blending well. If you're a tres chic place, have killer girlie drinks, please! The quality of their fish was very good for sushi, but some of the fusion dishes fell short on quantify for price (I'm sorry, 1 short rib in a main course is not okay), flavor combinations (texture and flavor combos really), and service, which can ruin a moment. The skate wing was very very good though, and I highly reccomend the dish if you do go there.
